Hello! I’m a Communication major with a minor in Environmental Studies at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I am deeply passionate about fostering meaningful connections and thrive on building relationships that bridge diverse perspectives. My goal is to combine the power of effective communication with a strong appreciation for the natural environment to better understand and engage with the world around me.
Outside of my academic pursuits, I embrace life’s vibrant experiences—whether attending concerts, exploring new destinations, sharing great meals with even better friends, or enjoying quiet moments with my three beloved cats. These experiences shape who I am and fuel my enthusiasm for connecting with people and the world.
Originally from Willow Spring, N.C., I began my college journey in Wilmington, N.C. Unsure of my career path, I decided to take a break from school to reflect and reassess my goals. During this time, I moved to Raleigh, N.C. and took online college courses intermittently. Four years later, I am proud to have completed my associate's degree and am now pursuing a bachelor's in Communication Studies with a minor in Environmental Science at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
While communication is my strength, my true passion lies in environmental science, which inspired my academic focus. I aspire to build a career that allows me to drive meaningful change for the environment, particularly in sustainability. I’m even considering law school to specialize in environmental law, further aligning my skills and passions to make a lasting impact.
